The 598 card 1965 Topps Baseball Card Set features a unique pennant design that contains the team names. The 1965 Topps Set is one of the easier sets from the 1960’s to complete. Another interesting fact from the 1965 Topps Set was that only 3 of the 12 1964 Leaders Cards did not feature at least one future Hall-of-Fame player - but all three of those featured Cy Young Winner Dean Chance. The high number set that begins with card #371 and has 44 cards that were printed in lesser quantities and are considered “Short Prints”. 1965 Topps Baseball Card Set also has a nice rookie card class of #477 Steve Carlton, #526 Jim Hunter, #16 Joe Morgan, #581 Tony Perez and #282 Manson Murakami – the first Japanese Player to play in the U.S. |
